Free to Be You- Support for school wide celebration needed!
Mon, Apr 4 9:09am

Dear Denali Community,

I hope this year you have noticed a big shift in celebrating and honoring the diversity in our community as we work to build stronger bonds between students, teachers, parents and everyone in our building.

In the spirit of honoring all of our students the Q&A Club is working to plan the first annual PRIDE PARTY at Denali Middle School on Wednesday, June 1st. This will be an all school event with mentor group activities, informational sessions and school wide fun.

Theme: FREE TO BE YOU
Date: Wednesday, June 1st
Time 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

We are hoping to get some parents and community members to be involved to help us plan and throw an awesome event! Here are some ways you can help support our students:

1) Sponsor an event booth!
If you are able, rent a snow cone machine or dunk tank to enjoy the day of the party! We are also looking for bulk chalk dye to have some color walk/run fun!

2) Donate Supplies!
Donate supplies for making flower crowns (any material listed here) or tie dye supplies (we need both dye and flags)!

3) Chaperone the fun!
If you are able, come set up and help run booths at the Pride Party! If you are interested in teaching or leading a certain craft please come and share your knowledge  and skill!

If you are interested in donating or chaperoning, please fill out THIS LINK so we can be in touch with details!

Thank you for continuing to support diversity and inclusion in our shared community!
