Inaugural Denali Town Hall, ELAC, and Parent Org Meetings – Tues, April 9

We cordially invite you to join us for the Inaugural Denali Town Hall on April 9 at 6:30pm at our Weddell campus.

This will be an opportunity for your family to hear directly from Summit Public Schools’ Superintendent Anson Jackson, who will be giving a short presentation on the State of the Organization at Summit Public Schools and our vision for the upcoming academic year. This will also be your chance to meet with our network’s Home Office directors and learn more about what they do behind the scenes to support our schools and students.

You will also be given an opportunity to give feedback about your child(ren)’s experience at Summit so we can improve how we support your child(ren) as they move through their middle school/high school career.

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience using this link. Refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided. If you have any further questions or comments about this exciting event, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Kevin and Anica

p.s. The town hall is preceded by the ELAC meeting and is followed by the monthly parent org meeting.

Congratulations Denali Science Olympiad Teams

Between 2 teams this school year, Denali was represented at 2 Invitational competitions as well as the Regional competition. Several medals were won in the Invitationals thanks to the hard work of many students. A total of 39 teams from multiple bay area schools competed in the Regional at San Jose City College. Denali students had a great time going to their events with their team mates, playing games and hanging out with their friends during down time and picnicking on the yummy food brought by parents. Congratulations to all the students who studied hard and did their very best. And thank you to all the volunteer parent coaches, the teams couldn’t have done it without you.

Science Olympiad topics include: hands on building – Hovercrafts, Boomilevers and Battery buggies, experimental design – Shock Value, Poisons and Potions, and Game On and subject events like Road Scholar, Dynamic Planet, Fossils and many more.

Science Olympiad at Denali expanded this school year to include 2 teams. Next year we look forward to more high school students joining so that we can have one Middle School Team and one all High School Team.

If you are new to Science Olympiad and would like to join for next school year contact Ramadevi Kesevan at
