High Spring Study Trip Dates April 3,4,5

The High School spring study dates are:
  • 9th Grade: April 4-5, Destination: Santa Cruz
  • 10th Grade: April 3-5, Destination: Sacramento
  • 11th Grade: April 3-5, Destination: Los Angeles

Note: Middle School study trip dates not set yet as they are single day trips, are a bit easier to schedule.

Please mark your calendars now! We’ll need approximately 25 volunteer drivers per grade level to drive students to and from all of our destinations as well as to various colleges during the trip (including overnight stays). Sign up sheets will be coming soon.

Seeking Parent Coordinators to Help with Planning:

We are also looking for a few parents (ideally 3 per grade level) to help with the grade level spring study trips.

Parent leads would focus on:
  • coordinating driving,
  • coordinating food and overnight accommodations,
  • overall logistics
Ideally at least one of these parents could also attend the trip.

Once we have recruited enough volunteer leads, the leads will attend a Monday afternoon staff meeting to coordinate with the teacher teams.
If you are willing to help lead, please sign up on this Google sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13oN2zvyMc5iwSUn-smgXWii7C7adSJFH8g25Q7YLyrg/edit?usp=sharing

Thanks!
Heather & Abigail
