What would society gain from having more women and minorities code?  Thanks to generous parent donations, we have purchased the screening rights for the film "CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap.”  Here is the Film Trailer and the film will include Spanish subtitles.  CODE examines why more girls and people of color are not seeking educational opportunities in computer science and explains how cultural mindsets, stereotypes, educational hurdles, unconscious biases and sexism play a role in this national crisis.  In our discussion at the end, we will make connections to what we are doing about it in our own community.
