Parent Ed: Building an Unselfie Culture and Dream Volunteers Presentation
Thu, Feb 1 6:30pm-8:00pm
Summit Denali - Weddell Campus

Join us for "Building an Unselfie Culture: A Presentation on Summit Denali’s Dream Volunteers Program and a guided discussion about Cultivating a Service Mindset” (based on the popular book, "Unselfie: Why Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About-Me World").  Dream Volunteers are asking our students: Who do you want to be?  What are the values, interests, passions and fire that get you out of bed in the morning - and how can you use them to make a real impact?  Come listen to the executive director of Dream Volunteers speak along with Denali high school student club leaders to learn about this service program on our campus and how our students are going on international service trips this summer.  We hope your participation in this event will help to build momentum as we build out service programs in our growing high school.  Additionally, we will have a guided discussion on the key concepts in “Building an Unselfie Culture" from Dr. Borba’s acclaimed book.
