1. My child was absent on Thursday and missed the Jogathon. Can s/he do a make up run to get a lap count for entry into Pledgestar?
Yes, any student who was absent last Thursday can stay after school this coming Thursday. As previously noted, this time will just be for running/walking and will not include any of the other activities typical of our annual Jogathon.

2. When does the next rotation of Enrichment classes begin?
Students begin a new session of Enrichment this week. Enrichment classes will run May 22nd at which time every student will have completed two sessions each of Art, Maker-Tinker, and Mindfulness. Sign-ups above are new for this next and final rotation of classes for the school year.

Jogathon - Video Contest
There is still time to submit a video promoting this year's Jogathon. Encourage your child/children to create a video promoting and advertising our Jogathon. A family or group video is welcomed! Submit using: Video Contest Entry Form by this Friday, March 8th.

Party with a Purpose (PWP) - "Studio 24"
Have you secured your tickets to Studio 24 Party with a Purpose yet?? Boogie the night away with us on March 22^nd downtown San Diego at UCSD Park & Market. The last day to purchase tickets is March 11th, so don’t miss your chance. You can purchase tickets HERE.

We are also looking for event sponsors. This is a great opportunity to help the school while also exposing your company to over 300 SVE parents! You can find our Sponsorship opportunities HERE. The last day to guarantee your company’s logo placement for a sponsorship is March 8^th.

A fan favorite of the Party with a Purpose is the opportunity to purchase a professional photo of your child by fellow parent, Nicole Keel of Clarity by Nicole. To guarantee yourself a photo, tickets to the event must be purchased by March 5^th, so don’t delay! Photos will be taken during school on March 7^th.

For anyone wishing to contribute to teacher tickets, please look at the bottom of the Sponsorship page HERE. (You can specify any amount you'd like for use towards the cost of teacher/staff tickets. All teachers/staff are invited to attend the event at no cost to them.)

Party with a Purpose Kid’s Picture
Attention PWP Attendees! It’s Picture Time! March 7^th is picture day for all kids of parents who have purchased a ticket to the PWP. A matte 8x10 image of each student will be available for purchase on March 22^nd at the event. Questions can be directed to Nicole Keel via Konstella. See the attached flyer for more details.

Spelling Bee Schedule - March 14th
See the attached file listing all students who have qualified for the Spelling Bee to date. (A few students may be added once they have the chance to take the qualification test if they were previously absent.)
