A lot is going on at Sutro during this last full month of school!
Here are a few announcements and reminders for this week:
- Thank you so much for making Sutro teachers feel the love last week during teacher appreciation week. There is one last day to donate to the fund for our 3 paraeducators who missed a week of pay during the strike in February. We are currently at $1065 of our $1500 goal, and an anonymous donor has offered to give the last $250 if we make it to $1250 as a community. We will give Ms. Owens, Ms. Zhu, and Ms. Sabrina a check tomorrow (Monday May 11). - Tuesday May 12 from 8:00am-9:30am we will be selling old and NEW Sutro shirts and hats at the drop off area on Funston Avenue. Come check out the new Sutro long sleeve t-shirts for adults and children ($25 each) and trucker hats ($20 each). All Sutro swag from 2025 and earlier will be only $5 each! Cash, checks, Zelle, or credit card via Zeffy accepted. Grab some deals and be the first to rock and represent Sutro in the new gear!
- Wednesday May 13 is the monthly PTA meeting held on Zoom between 6:30-7:30pm. This is the last PTA meeting of the year, and there is still much to go over and discuss for the rest of this year and for the start of next year. - Thursday May 14 is STEAM night at Sutro! This is a very fun event showcasing the dances, art, music and science projects that students have been working on at school this year. Beginning at 5:00pm, Sutro PTA will be selling food (lo mein noodles and pizza), drinks, and new and old Sutro swag (see above).
We are still seeking parent volunteers to help prepare, organize and sell at the event between 4:30-6:15, so please sign up on Konstella or email sutroPTA@gmail.com. * You can step away any time to watch your child perform.
*PTA relies on parent volunteers to continue operating, so please consider participating and contributing when/where you can to keep all of the fun events and opportunities for our students going

-5 月 12 日星期二上午 8 點至 9 點半我哋會係芬斯頓大道嘅落車區賣舊同新嘅 Sutro 衫同帽，大家記得嚟啦！嚟睇下全新嘅 Sutro 大人同小朋友長袖 T 恤（每件 25 美元）同卡車司機帽（每件 20 美元）。 2025年及之前嘅所有 Sutro 禮品，每件都只係 $ 5！搶啲優惠，成為第一個搖滾同代表 Sutro 喺新裝備入面嘅人！
-5 月 13 號星期三係每月 6:30-7:30 喺 Zoom 舉行嘅家長會。今次係今年最後一次家長會，今年剩低嘅時間同明年年頭仲有好多嘢要討論同討論。如果你可以嘅話，請加入！ *
-5 月 14 號星期四係蘇特羅嘅 STEAM 之夜！呢個係一個好有趣嘅活動，展示學生今年喺學校做緊嘅舞蹈、藝術、音樂同科學項目。由下晝五點開始，蘇特羅 PTA 會賣食物（羅面麵或者薄餅）、飲品，同埋新同舊嘅蘇特羅小品（睇上面）。
我哋仲搵緊家長義工幫手喺4:30-6:15之間嘅活動準備、組織同賣嘢，所以請喺 Konstella 報名或者電郵 sutroPTA @ gmail . com 。 * 你可以隨時離開睇你嘅小朋友表演。
