I recognize that recent news coverage regarding an increased federal presence in San Francisco may be causing worry and concern among our families and staff. Please be assured that we are closely monitoring the situation and continuing to work in strong collaboration with our local and state partners to provide a coordinated and supportive response.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority. We are committed to ensuring that all students continue to have access to instruction and essential services during this uncertain time. We will continue to share updates and information in the coming days.
At this time, it is important that each family reviews and updates their emergency contact information:
● Complete your child’s emergency contact card so our staff knows who to reach out to if you are unavailable. Visit sfusd.edu/emergencycard for instructions and make sure Lisa has an updated card on file in the office.
● Create a family emergency plan in case of separation or other disruptions. Guidance and planning tools are available on our Immigration Resources page.
