Arrival Meet-Up spots

Dismissal Meet-up spots

We will continue to use our outdoor spaces for morning arrival and dismissal.  Please see the above maps for your class designated meet-up spot and dismissal spot.

Each classroom community will meet out in the open air each day. 8:10 AM for arrival, and again at 2:30 PM dismissal time

Morning Arrival:

Our early drop-off time begins at 7:40am an open play and gathering time supervised by our “Morning Duty Crew” - staff who start their day bright and early to supervise children dropped off before classes make their way upstairs

At arrival time, teachers will pick up their classes at 8:10am  and travel into the building together as a group. 

Afternoon Dismissal:

NOTE - This year, the school buses will move into Rapelye St. for 2:30pm dismissal, and some dismissal meet-up spots will move into the Big Yard.  This will allow for safer bus boarding for all of our bus riders.  We’ll all learn a new routine, listening for the daily whistle, which will announce the moment when we move the barricardes for the buses to move forward and out of the street.  

At dismissal, families can meet their children at their dismissal spots - unless they’re boarding school buses or heading to our AfterSchool program.  When you pick your child up, be sure to say goodbye to their teachers and/or sign out as requested, so we can be certain everyone is with their safe and trusted grown-up. 

Extra:  We’re so glad to share that we’ve been granted permission again to keep Rapelye St. closed to traffic during school hours for the upcoming school year.  Unless the weather gets in the way, in which case we pivot to indoor arrival or dismissal.
