Dear BNS families,

I wanted to share some insight into our fundraising efforts at FoBNS (Friends of BNS = the Parents' Association supporting the school).

There are ~540 families, and ~650 kids in the BNS community.

Currently, 87 families (16%) make monthly recurring donations that support every child at the school.

These donations range from $3 to over $800 per month. The most common donation is $47 per month. Every single donation makes a difference.

Collectively, these donations make up $8,017 per month, or $96k annually, which brings us to 44% of our annual fundraising goal: $220k/year.

In 2026, we want to DOUBLE the number of monthly donations to 180+ families.

If we can double to ~$16k per month, we’d be close to meeting our annual fundraising needs!

That means the curriculum we all love - the arts, science, swim, field trips, classroom supplies, and so much more that makes BNS special - would all be covered.
