Meanwhile, we've attached a letter from the DOE regarding the annual New York State English Language Arts (ELA), mathematics, and science tests that will be administered to students this spring. 

We've also attached preliminary guidance on how artificial intelligence (AI) may be used in our schools. This is a starting point, not the final word. We encourage you to read the full preliminary guidance and share your feedback through the DOE's online survey. The survey will be open for 45 days until May 8, 2026.
