DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI) COMMITTEE MEETING

Wednesday, October 15
7:00 - 8:00pm

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee supports the needs of students, parents, teachers and administrators to foster a school community where every intersection of diversity is uniquely acknowledged and celebrated each and every day — in what our students learn and how they interact with one another; and how our teachers and parents engage with black, brown and other minority teachers.

For details, visit the event on the Konstella calendar.

THE 2ND ANNUAL BNSFEST!

  • James McNew
  • Fran López
  • Sloppy Heads
  • Tatters & Rags
  • Jon Glaser
  • Love, Burns
  • and more to be announced!

Plus: An art auction featuring incredible work donated by artists from our community.

All proceeds raised will go directly to BNS. Stay tuned for more information on how you can donate in advance and of course, there will be opportunities to give on the day of the event as well!

FAQ

  1. Are kids allowed?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event, and children are welcome. Please keep in mind that the benefit is taking place at Mama Tried, a bar and performance venue—not a playground. We ask that parents and caregivers keep an eye on their kids throughout the afternoon to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
  2. Will there be food?
Yes! Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the cash bar inside the venue. Mama Tried has generously offered to donate 15% of all bar purchases made during the event back to BNS.
  3. Where will the event be held?
The event will take place outdoors in Mama Tried’s covered backyard.

Come out, celebrate our amazing community, and help support BNS!

Sign up here for a shift if you can help out.

And if you have a waffle maker we can borrow, please let us know.
We can prepare many more waffles if we have more waffle makers -- to the greatest extent our outlets can handle! We'll send out a request to bring in loaner-waffle-makers closer to the event date.
