We are in need of a secretary! The ESPA secretary spot is considered one of the "mandatory" positions to have filled, according to the DOE. The secretary has voting power in district elections. The main role is to take notes at once monthly general Parent Association meetings and distribute them to our community via email, and attend once monthly executive meetings.
If this sounds like a position you'd like to get involved in please reach out: esPA@theearthschool.org
PHOTOS: Last week you should have received a flyer with your child's picture and online code to view their photos from your child's classroom teacher. You can now view the photo online! Flyers will also be posted around the school with timelines and instructions on how to order.
Just click the link below and follow the instructions.
School will be closed this Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving Recess. Several of our classes this year have been focusing on gratitude as a value in their classrooms. Donna and Linda’s class have created gratitude posters that are displayed in the Earth School lobby, and they invite the community to add their personal thoughts about gratitude on the “Gratitude Wall” that is now hanging there!

REVISED Winter recess dates! We wanted to be sure all families are aware that the DOE revised the dates for Winter Recess. They originally scheduled that break to start on December 24th. The revised dates for Winter Recess are December 23rd through January 1.
In this season of Giving Thanks, you are in our hearts! Many thanks for all the ways you make the Earth school a great place for our kids. Have a safe and happy holiday!
