The Brooklyn Book Festival!
 
The Festival has already begun and continues through this weekend with:
 
CHILDREN’S DAY
Saturday, September 21st
10am to 4pm
in Metrotech Commons

It’s a day celebrating childhood reading — filled with author readings (including by Mo Willems  https://brooklynbookfestival.org/childrens-day/brooklyn-book-festival-coffee-reception-for-educators-with-mo-willems/, this year’s Best of Brooklyn Award Winner), art projects and workshops. All events are free to the public.

FESTIVAL DAY
Sunday, September 22nd
10am to 6pm 
in various locations around Brooklyn Heights

The Festival features author signings, local bookshops, and a full day of smart and insightful presentations. Entrance to individual programs is first come, first serve.
 
 
So, if you’re looking for something to do with your kids this weekend that might inspire their love of books, get out and enjoy the Festival!
