Food has a special way of bringing people together, and we'd love your family to join us for ThornChill's Passport Potluck!
In my Filipino family, some of the most loving things you can say are "Kumain ka na ba?" ("Have you eaten yet?") or "Kain tayo" ("Let's eat"). These are often said in place of "I love you" because sharing food to make sure others are cared for is deeply rooted in our culture! I'll be serving chicken lumpia at ThornChill, because a party never feels complete without a platter of lumpia! For many Filipino families, it's more than just a favorite snack, it's a symbol of celebration, and bringing people together. ❤️
A small dish can spark a big connection! We invite you to bring something that represents a culture, tradition, or favorite family recipe. Just enough for others to enjoy a bite and experience something new!
