The rain is coming to close out the school week—here are some friendly reminders to keep drop-off and pick-up running smoothly:  

No Parking in Front of the School (8 AM - 4 PM, School Days):

Parking here has always been prohibited (check the curb signage!), but it hasn’t been strictly enforced—until now. This year (cue spooky thunder sound effects), it will be enforced to keep the lane clear for afternoon pick-ups.  

Speed Limits: It’s 25 mph on Thornhill, 15 mph in the school zone. 

Respect Our Neighbors: Don’t block driveways, even for “just a minute.” 

No U-Turns: Rain makes everything slippery, including your tires and our patience. U-turns in front of the school or anywhere on Thornhill (except Merriewood Drive) are a no-go.  

Bring Your Patience, Good Humor, and Safety Brain. Let’s work together to make sure all our kids arrive and leave school safely! ❤️

Last but not least, THANK YOU to the real MVP's - our traffic volunteers! They show up rain or shine, every morning and afternoon, to make drop-off and pick-up smoother for everyone.
