Join Us for Our Final BAC Meeting of the Year – May 5!

As we wrap up a powerful school year, we invite all Thornhill families to our final BIPOC Advisory Council (BAC) General Meeting of 2024–25. Whether you’ve joined us before, supported from afar, or are simply curious — this is a perfect time to connect.

Why come?
The BAC is a group of Thornhill parents working to make our school a place where every student, especially those from underrepresented communities, feels seen, supported, and celebrated. We advise on policies that address racism and inequity and partner with the Parent Faculty Club (PFC) to help ensure all events are inclusive and representative of our diverse community.

At this final meeting, we’ll:
✨ Reflect on the incredible work BAC and our Allies accomplished this year
✨ Talk about open BAC leadership roles, including a key Communications Co-Chair position — a great opportunity if you care about community connection!
✨ Preview a conversation on student achievement and race at Thornhill
✨ Share and gather ideas as we plan for 2025–26

We’ll be circulating the full list of BAC leadership roles in the coming days for your consideration. We’d love to have you involved!
