In light of the anti-Black language and threats of violence that occurred last week, we wanted to make sure that all interested families have information about the solidarity and unity gathering taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov 1, at Thornhill.  

Please see the attached flyer about three events set for Tuesday morning — all in support Thornhill’s Black students and their parents/guardians/caregivers.

• 8:00am     Black Children’s Lives Matter gathering in front of the school — wear black or BLM clothing if possible
• 9:30am     Black Affinity Space for parents of Black children (Library)
• 10:30am   Thornhill Parent Community Space - All parents are invited and encouraged to attend a listening session to demonstrate unity, allyship, and community. Parents will meet in the multi-purpose room (cafeteria).
