Greetings Thornhill Families!

JCC East Bay is so excited to rejoin the Thornhill community! We previously served many Thornhill families at our former site on Racine, prior to the pandemic, and we’re proud to return to the school this fall. Thornhill will be our 3rd OUSD Kids’ Club program along the Route 13 corridor, joining Joaquin Miller and a TK-only program at Hintil CDC. We also have a large program on-site in Berkeley, serving primarily Berkeley Unified students. We take pride in partnering with each school to make sure our program is tailored to the unique needs of that community.

We know there will be questions about enrollment, timing, and our plans at Thornhill. Please see the attached FAQ.

We WILL offer morning care, in addition to afternoon care. Both morning and afternoon care will be available 2, 3, 4, and 5 days/week.

The JCC East Bay, along with Principal Daubenspeck, will host a Zoom meeting on April 8, 6:30-7:30pm, and I will be on site at Thornhill a few days the following week in the morning and afternoon to answer questions, or just to meet you. Days/times TBD.
