Dear Thornhill families,

Our annual Benefit Auction is coming up in March, and we’re putting together the committee that will make it happen. You don’t need to be a seasoned party planner to jump in. We have resources, past committee members’ tips, and a great Auction Chair, Bronwen Sterling, to guide the team. It’s a fun way to meet other families and help raise money for our school.

Most needed:

• Auction Co-Chair: partner with Bronwen to lead the committee
• Silent & Live Auction Items Coordinators: lead donation solicitations, keep track of the donated items, and organize the physical items. This is the heart of the auction, and it works well as a team of two or more.
• Event Planner & Night of Coordinator: be the point of contact for the venue and vendors and manage event logistics
• Database Coordinators: enter auction items and manage tickets and email communications
• Run of Show + A/V Coordinator: build the event timeline and program and manage the A/V
• Marketing/Communications Coordinator: create graphics and announcements for newsletters, social media, and flyers

Also looking for:

• Sponsorships Coordinator
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Games Coordinators
• Hosted Parties Coordinators
• Decor setup helpers on the day of the event

Teaming up with a friend is welcome, and many roles are a good fit for parents with busy schedules.
