Thornhill is hosting a Read-in with the Oakland EdFund in celebration of Latine/x Heritage Month, which is right around the corner! Volunteers come to classrooms to read a book that celebrates Latine/x heritage and is written and/or illustrated by Latine/x creators. 

It will take place on Thursday, October 10, from 12:30-2pm. We would love to have Thornhill community members participate! Cleared volunteers are welcome to fill out this form to sign up to participate for two twenty minute visits to classes. Please sign up by September 20 to assure you have a spot! Books and information will be provided. It is a great way to celebrate the heritage month with our students. Hope to see you there!
