Let's get this party started!
Wed, Feb 9 3:41pm

Less than two months to go until the Thornhill auction and the parties are already starting!

As a reminder, Hosted Parties are a critical part of the auction, coming up on Saturday, March 26th. They are hosted by parents and teachers, raise critical funds for the school, and happen all year long. Our first two parties of the year will happen before the auction itself, so check them out and buy your tickets now.

Upcoming Parties

First up is a super awesome family-friendly trivia event, hosted by the one and only fourth-grade teacher extraordinaire, Ms. Novak! This event is virtual, so extra Covid-safe, and happening Sunday, March 6 at 4:00pm. Show what you know about the world, music and pictures in a four-round virtual game night. Tickets are on sale now, and space is limited to ensure a meaningful game, so act fast. Buy your ticket today. Click here to purchase your family's spot.

Then, just a week before the auction, first grade families are invited to celebrate the Indian festival of Holi right here in our own local park! Featuring traditional snacks catered by Curry Up Now (deeeeelish), a dance lesson and performance by Dhol Rhythms and a fabulous color party in Montclair Park, this event will be hosted by two first grade families on Saturday, March 19, and is not to be missed. Get your tickets today. Click here to purchase your spot.

If you’re unable to attend these parties but still want to support the school, consider making a donation so another family can attend.

Want to Host?

Feeling inspired to host a party of your own but not sure where to start? Contact hostaparty@thornhillschool.org for help. Consider teaming up with another parent from the school to share the fun. Think about the kind of event you’d like to attend (or drop off your kid at) and let’s get planning. You do not have to be an experienced host or an extrovert to hold a successful Hosted Party.

We look forward to partying with you at one of these great events!
