Thornhill PFC is passing along the following at the request of Sequoia Elementary PTO, as a service to our community.

Three candidates are running for the District 4 seat on the Oakland school board, the seat that covers Thornhill: Kathryn Camp, Mike Hutchinson, and Sylvia Williams (listed alphabetically).

Montera Middle School is hosting a community forum where District 4 families can meet all three candidates, organized by the Sequoia Elementary PTO in partnership with Montera. It's open to any D4 family, not just those two school communities.

Submit a question before the event Up to four questions will be selected from those submitted and sent to all three candidates in writing (identical questions, same deadline), and their written answers will be published together, unedited, on September 30, a week before the forum.
