This November 14, we are excited to join schools nationwide for Ruby Bridges Walk IN to School Day—a joyful morning celebration of unity and community. This is a celebration for the whole school community and we hope you can join us!

Things to Know:
- Everyone can take part by enjoying a story walk of Ruby's life and teachings as you walk along the sidewalk towards the decorated school gates 
- Please come to school wearing purple!
- Parents are encouraged to help out and cheer our students on as they make their way to the school gates: line their pathway to school with encouragement and good vibes!
- At 8:35-8:45am, join our Community Gathering in the schoolyard, where students will sing This Little Light of Mine, hear 5th Grade speeches and receive their RU-BE Bucks rewards 
- At 8:45-9:15am, parents are invited to stay and enjoy coffee and donuts with us on the back patio area

There is no need to walk from home to participate—just show up and stand with us! Come early, wear purple if you can, and help make this a morning our kids will remember! We are excited to celebrate this wonderful day with you; please sign up here if you are able to help with any specific action items.
