Please join us for our second annual Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day Celebration!

We are excited to honor Ruby's life-long mission to support racial and social equity, inclusion, kindness and understanding in our children's lives. Thornhill students have been learning in class about these themes and on Thursday, November 14th we will celebrate all the amazing learning and work they have been doing.

Everyone can take part by walking through our 'tunnel of positivity' and decorated school gates! We will have music, art works, chalk designs and a community gathering at 8:40am- parents are welcome to join! Coffee, donuts and community for parents will take place in the garden at 8:45am.

Please come to school wearing purple and consider volunteering to cheer our students on as they make their way to class; line their pathway with encouragement and good vibes. If you would like to, you can walk to school with friends by joining a walking train; map and timings are shown below.

This celebration is for everyone and we need your help to make it as joyful as possible, so if you can, please join us and sign up for a volunteer spot below.
