**ThornChill will be postponed due to weather - we will notify you of the new date soon!**

---

We are so excited for the 2nd annual ThornChill community event on Saturday, January 20, brought to you by Principal Daubenspeck and the BIPOC Advisory Council. Get ready to enjoy live music from Bay Area’s own Dans of Steel, exploring the music of Steely Dan and affiliated artists. Get a sneak peek here . They will be performing from 12-1pm.

We will also have a performance from the Jazz Education Ensemble. They provide a “hands on” educational experience about jazz for our nation's youth, the Jazz Education Ensemble has developed a live, interactive, jazz curriculum featuring live performances as well as music classes for students of all ages. Learn more here - . Their performance is slated for 1-2pm. But wait, that's not all the music we will be enjoying! We also are thrilled to have DJ Paul, a fellow Thornhill parent, mixing it up with some old school favorites.

If music is not your jam, we have you covered! Do your kiddos love art? Our fabulous art teacher, Ms. Gelbron, will be leading a special ThornChill edition art project in the House of Art.

Last but certainly not least, we will have a dessert potluck (optional) and we are asking families to bring their favorite dessert. Have a family recipe that you love to make or a recipe that’s a tradition in your household? We would love to try it - sign up here!

We look forward to seeing you there!
