Traffic Heroes Needed ASAP + Green Parking Permit Info
Thu, May 16 10:44am
For today and tomorrow, we're in dire need of extra volunteers to ensure our children's safety during pick-up and drop-off. Can we rally volunteers from each class for pick-up duty today? We're also still searching for three more individuals to help with tomorrow's drop-off. Your support is invaluable to us.

Volunteer to help at pickup today between 2-3pm or Friday and you can get a day-permit to park! Ian Storrar will reach out to you after you sign up below.

A small parking strip within the St. John's parking lot is exclusively designated for teachers and members of the St. John's community. The spaces along to the hill, nearest to the school, have been designated as GREEN permit parking only. Those eligible to park in these spots will display a GREEN permit from their rearview mirrors. Any vehicle parked in these spaces without a permit will be subject to towing.

For morning drop off, in addition to the two existing drive and drop spots on Alhambra Ln. and Thornhill Dr., we will also be adding a new drop off zone along Thornhill at Gate D.

The white zone for school drop off actually extends to the end of the campus. Normally, about 4 cars can park there. This will not be allowed for the rest of the school year from 8-9am as this space will be a drop off zone (ideal for kids using Gate D).

We are working on a formal pick up plan. Stay tuned. For pick up today and tomorrow, please allow extra time and be patient :)
To help us get through the next 6 days of the school year, please consider the following ways to help reduce traffic, keep kids safe, and help us through this exciting but busy end of year period.

A. Walk or bike to school (if you can)

B. Carpool (fund our playdate buddies and see if you can reduce cars)

C. Volunteer (we need a few parents/guardians from every class to help out for drop off and pickup)

We really appreciate everybody making this easier and safer for all. Thanks for your grace and kindness in these next few days.
