Bring your sneakers and your giggles, walk to school and shake your wiggles!

Tomorrow is Walk & Roll To School and anyone can participate, so leave the car at home and walk or bike to school with other families!

There are parking areas for those who live far from school.

All students will receive a small giveaway whether they participate or not, and the classroom with the most participation wins a cupcake party! Who doesn't love cupcakes?

Find your parking area and meet your "train" at the stations and times below:

• Broadway Terrace & Merriewood intersection: Train departs at 7.50am

• Upper Merriewood stairs & Valley View Rd: Train departs at 8.05am

• Yarrow Nursery on Thornhill & Beauforest Dr [PARK at the nursery]: Train departs at 8.00am

• Fernwood & Mountain intersection [PARK on Fernwood]: Train departs at 8.00am

• Montclair Recreation Center, Montclair Park [PARK on Moraga]: Train departs at 7.55am

Each route will be staffed with walking leads and patrol volunteers to safely accompany you and your child along the way to school. They will bring music and other fun ideas, so rise early and hop on your neighborhood walking train for some excitement and morning oxygen!

With a healthy mind and body, parents will be more effective at work and students more attentive in the classroom after drop-off. We realize not everyone can walk or bike, but we encourage as many of you to participate in reducing our carbon footprint and staying healthy. Even one morning makes a difference.
