The Walkathon & Carnival is this Saturday, April 25 from 10:00am–2:00pm!
Each student has their own personal Walkathon page through 99 Pledges (check your email). You can also visit Thornhill’s walkathon landing page to search for individual participants. Everyone is welcome to walk for free. Contribute $30 or more and receive a free Kona Shaved Ice plus 10 carnival tickets. There will also be food and drinks available for purchase.
Each grade level is hosting a booth. We have all the basic supplies ready to go, but we need volunteers to help with setup and to run the games throughout the event.
Grade-level booths:
- TK: Lucky Duck Pond
- Kindergarten: Lollipop Pull
- 1st Grade: Wheel of Wonder
- 2nd Grade: Face Painting
- 3rd Grade: Fishin’ Frenzy
- 4th Grade: Milk Bottle Toss (plus a bake sale fundraiser for next year’s overnight field trip)
- 5th Grade: Dunk Tank
The sign-up also includes opportunities to donate canopies, folding tables, and help at other stations across the Walkathon.
Donate Toys and Trinkets for Walkathon Prizes!
Are your kids outgrowing their toys? Extra party favors cramping your cupboards? Keychains collecting dust? Time to spring clean and declutter those toy bins! We are collecting small toys and trinkets, in functional shape, with all pieces intact, to hand out as prizes for the Walkathon! There will be a donation bin inside the office from Monday, March 30th - Friday, April 23rd.
Please note: we are NOT collecting stuffies, books, craft supplies, homemade jewelry/art or clothing!
