Dear TES Families,
The district has announced that all SDUSD schools will be closed beginning Monday, March 16th through spring break. The District will be providing continuity of learning for students and providing optional enrichment curriculum via the district website at www.sandiegounified.org. There will be postings by grade level on the district website for students to access resources while at home (if desired).
Students will also be sent home today with any necessary textbooks, workbooks, journals, writing folders, and independent reading books they might need while at home. They may receive additional guidance from their teachers via email, Konstella or class dojo so please continue to check those sites.
If your child was absent today, please communicate with classroom teacher via email regarding school work
Custodial staff will be sanitizing the school in an effort to stop the spread of any viruses before students return to school. Teachers and principals will be working from home so please contact us via email if you need anything!
The district will be providing food to students during the closure (similar to the summer feeding program). Food is free to all kids 18 and under. You may pick up “grab and go meals” from 7 locations across the district (lunch and breakfast will be provided each day). Hours of operation are 11:00-1:00. This drive up service will be available at: Clark, Cherokee Point, Sherman, Zamarano, Kearney, O’farrell, and FARB (Tierrasanta location) beginning Monday.
Additionally, the office will be open until 3:00 today if you need to retrieve student medication or other items.
