The Viking Fun Run/Walk is TOMORROW  and we are a little over 50% of the way toward our goal of $50,000!!  [Last year we made MORE than this!]  Click here to donate.   

💌 Send the link to Grandma and the aunts and uncles!  Money raised fully funds our Instructional Aides, Reading Specialist, Garden Education program, and technology platforms. 

📣 Come and cheer! There is music! 🎶  The kids love to see you as they run by! Send Grandma and Grandpa if they’re up heading out to the blacktop on a Friday! 

⏱️  When:

• 2nd/3rd Grade- 8:30am-9:30am
• TK/K/1st- 10am-11am (TK class run to be held on Kinder playground)
• 4th/5th- 11:15am-12:15pm

REMINDERS 

 👟 Students:

• Dress appropriately: T-shirts, shorts, athletic shoes and sunblock. Spirit Wear is also great!
• Send your child with a water bottle, label the water bottle with your last name. We will have water bottle refill stations during the 20 minute run/walk to make sure our kiddos stay hydrated.  💦

💗 Volunteering Parents:

• Please be on time and report to the office to sign-in and get a VOLUNTEER PASS.  
• After, report to black top to sign-in.  
• Look for the Volunteer Check-In sign on the table near the MUR under the solar panels. 

🎉 Cheering Parents/Grandparents/ Aunts/Uncles:

• Stop by the office, sign-in and get a VISITOR PASS.  
• Head to the black top area, the cheering section is under the solar panels.   
• Bring signs! Wear blue and gold!  🎉

The Viking Fun Run raises critical funds for our school while promoting fitness and healthy habits. Proceeds raised by the TK-3rd Grades benefit Valle Verde PTA’s Viking Fund, which fully funds our Instructional Aides, Reading Specialist, Garden Education program, and technology platforms. Proceeds raised by the 4th and 5th Grade will benefit the 5th Grade Activity Fund, which sends students to outdoor education camp and funds graduation expenses. 

We are  looking forward to an amazing day tomorrow with our wonderful Valle Verde students, teachers/staff and families!
