Here are highlights from the first Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meeting of the year:

✨ Key Updates:

• Class Sizes: In districts with smaller class sizes, families often pay a higher parcel tax that helps fund this reduction.

• New TK Classes: 24 new Transitional Kindergarten classes have been added across MDUSD.

• Test Scores: Standardized test results from last year (compared to the year prior) will be released soon, with a focus on overall improvement.

• Teachers Union: The union is moving into the Fact Finding stage after mediation did not lead to an agreement.
