Valle Verde Families -

What an incredible start to the year. In September, Jenny Roy and Faye Einspahr set the tone by bringing hundreds of people together at our first ever Cultural Food Fair, which is sure to become an annual tradition. Thank you to all the families involved for sharing your heritage with us.

Friday’s 4th Annual Viking Fun Run proved once again that this community is special. We had an incredible turnout of family members to cheer, entertain, run alongside, and hydrate our Viking runners.  I’m thrilled to announce the event raised over $67,000 for the PTA - a new record.  Special thanks to Combiz Saleh, Tyler Epting, Ryan and Lisa Pappas, and all of the goofy parent runners and volunteers who helped plan the event and ensure it went smoothly.  I am especially grateful to Nicky Brooks and Liz Crimmins for running the show.

The community events will continue with the annual Fall Carnival, which will take place on October 22nd.  It is one of Valle Verde’s most popular traditions and I hope to see you there.  Tickets are on sale now!
