As we continue to navigate the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the Vallejo Mill PTA is cancelling the APEX Fun Run Prep Rally scheduled for March 17th and the APEX Fun Run scheduled for March 26th. The decision to cancel is not one we took lightly, but we prioritize the health and safety of our students, teachers, staff and everyone else that helps with the run.
The Fun Run is our main fundraising event of the year. The money raised goes directly towards funding much needed school programs, buying supplies, academic support, community events and activities. Specifically, the PTA fundraising supports:
- Classroom Supplies
- Science Camps and Field Trips
- Curriculum materials
- Cultural Programs
- Playground Equipment
- Library Books
- Teacher/Staff Enrichment
- Community/Family Events & More!!!!
If you would still like to donate, the PTA is a non-profit and accepts financial donations. Your donation supports much needed programs at Vallejo Mill and it’s a great tax-deduction for you. Friends and Family donations are accepted as well.
