Vallejo Mill Elementary

When:  On Friday, Nov. 9th, the Vallejo Mill PTA will be holding a Color Fun Run.  Volunteers will sprinkle color on the kids as they run laps around the baseball fields behind the school.  Order forms for the Color Run Race kits were sent home in Friday folders.  If you would like to purchase a race kit, the order forms must be returned by November 1st.           Race Kit's will be delivered by November 6th.

Why:  The Color Run Fundraiser supports the Vallejo Mill PTA.  Some examples of PTA sponsored programs at the school are: field trips, assemblies, library, science, P. E., teacher supplies and SO MUCH MORE!  A new water fountain has been purchased for the MUR, and we are working to further upgrade  the M.U.R. by adding a shade structure to the outside eating area.  This will provide the kids with much needed shelter from the sun and rain.

What can you do:  Volunteer and Raise Money!  Buy a race kit!  All proceeds go directly to the PTA. Please email VallejoMillPTA@gmail to find out about volunteer opportunities.  We need pop up tents, folding tables, and parents to help sprinkle color powder the day of the event. You can share your 99pledge link via social media or email it to family and friends to drum up pledge money.

Goal:   Our goal is to raise a minimum of $150 per student.  Pledge checks should be made out to Vallejo Mill PTA.  Donations are tax deductible.

  • Every $50 in pledges  qualifies your child for one raffle ticket!
More money raised =  more raffle tickets earned.
  • The student with the highest dollar value of pledges also wins a prize!
  • Class room contest!! Classroom with most pledges per student will win an ice cream social and the teacher wins a gift.
