I have great news! The district has approved library check out at our school using social distancing. Every Wednesday, starting on December 2nd from 1:30 to 3:30, you will be able to come and pick up your books. There will be a table outside the library door with your books and name on it. There will also be a tub for any returns. Please return all past due books before checking out any new ones. I will be unable to check out to you if you have anything past due. To get started you need to go into our library catalog https://www.destinydiscover.com/aasp/ui/pick/picked. You will need to type in the school name Vallejo Mill and then hit Go. It will then show you the Vallejo Mill Library Catalog. You will need to log in to put books on Hold. Then it will ask for a Username and Password. For example: If your name was Mickey Mouse and your student ID is 123456, your User name would be the first 3 letters of your first name and the first 3 letters of your last name and the last 3 numbers of your student ID. So in this case your User Name would be micmou456. Your password would be your student ID number 123456 (no alphabet letters included). You can then browse the catalog, If you find a book you like, click on it. It will tell you whether it is in or out and available to hold. You are allowed to put 5 books on hold. The check out time will be 2 weeks. If the order is placed the Tue before by Noon, I will be able to fill it the next day Wed. For example, if you place an order Dec 1st by noon, I'll fill it Dec 2nd by 1:30. If you put a hold on later than Tues noon, it will be filled the following Wed.
