To make sure this year is AMAZING, we need your help. So while you're beating the heat, sitting by the pool, or wherever this weekend takes you, take a peak at the items below and make sure you're set.

1. Join your kid's classroom on Konstella. This is where you'll connect with the other parents in your class, hear from the room parents about volunteer opportunities and other news (This isn't automatic!)
   1. Konstella Website:
      1. Click on your Name on the bar on the top left hand side
      2. Select “Your Children”
      3. Under Classroom, Click on “Join Classroom”
      4. Click on the appropriate Classroom/Teacher Name
      5. Your children and your parent record are now a part of that classroom
      6. Repeat for additional children, changing the tab at the top.
   2. Konstella Mobile App:
      1. Click on the Settings Cog Icon in the upper left hand corner
      2. Click on “Your Children”
      3. Select your child’s name.
      4. Click on “Please select your classroom”
      5. Click on the appropriate Classroom/Teacher Name
      6. Your children and your parent record are now a part of that classroom
      7. Repeat for additional children
2. Contribute to the Jag Fund. The Jaguar Fund is one of the Walnut Acres Parent Faculty Club’s key fundraising efforts, helping to bridge the gap between limited public school funding and the actual cost of delivering a rich, well-rounded education to our children. The suggested donation is $65/mo or $650/per child. It is also often employer matched, as the PFC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit! You can learn more and donate here
3. Review the PFC open positions! We are still looking for a few more parent volunteers to join the board and help lead some key events this year! Reply to this email or reach out to president@walnutacrespfc.net for more info or to sign up!
   - VP Community Relations - Be a community connector and oversee our smaller fundraising programs
   - Sustainability Coordinator - love the 3-bin system? Last year's new bulk milk system? Lead the charge for WA!
   - Outdoor Education Fundraising Co-Lead - are you a current 4th grade parent passionate about trying to offset the cost of next year's Outdoor Ed Camp? If so, join the existing lead to share the load and raise these funds!
