Enter the 2023 Art Show!

Hey Student Artists! Reminder that the Walnut Acres Art Show is waiting for you! We’d love to see your work on display in our art gallery next week (ssshhhh, don’t tell anyone, it’s really just the MUR decorated and dazzled to look like an art gallery but it's very cool!). 

Please review the submission guidelines and fill the online entry form by May 8th. Artwork needs to be delivered to the MUR on Wednesday, May 10.  We also need volunteers to make this event a success. Please sign-up here. 

We encourage every child to enter something they’ve made, whether it’s a drawing, painting, sculpture, collage… anything creative that your student enjoys making! If you hadn't made anything yet, there is plenty of time. Gather your supplies over the next few days, and use this weekend to finish your project and get it ready for display.

The Art Show reception is Tuesday, May 11 from 6-8pm. In addition to individual student work, every class will have an art awareness display up. The art teachers and students have worked incredibly hard this year, we can’t wait to show you what they’ve been up to. Every student will be represented in the show.
