Start gathering your supplies for our first community donation drive of the year!
The Walnut Acres Fall School Supply Drive+ is next Monday September 21st – Friday September 25th.
Donations of needed items including school supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, binders, backpacks, etc), gently used sporting equipment and new or gently used blankets and towels.
This community Drive will benefit MDUSD SOAR (Support Office for Access and Resources). SOAR supports a variety of student groups throughout MDUSD, including foster youth, unaccompanied youth, justice-involved youth, LGBTQIA+ students, American Indian education students, students experiencing human trafficking, students experiencing homelessness, and other students and families experiencing extreme hardship. SOAR offers basic need support, school access and stability, academic and future planning support as well as student and family support.
When: September 21st - September 25th
Where: Donations can be left outside the office
What: school supplies, gently used sporting equipment, gently used blankets and towels.
**Please no food items at all and no requested items past their useful life.**
