To volunteer in a classroom or chaperone a field trip, parents must be cleared by the District. This process includes fingerprinting, having a current tuberculosis (TB) clearance, and completing Mandatory Reporter Training.
During Jaguar Day, we will have a fingerprinting station available to help parents complete one of the necessary steps for volunteering. This is First Come, First Serve: no appointments. We will have multiple stations this year.
The cost of fingerprinting is $67 for parents who have resided in California for over a year and $84 for parents who have resided in California for less than a year. Accepted forms of payment include credit/debit cards or Zelle. Cash payments will not be accepted.
Linked is the Livescan form parents will need to complete and bring with them on Jag Day, along with the Level 2 volunteer form to send into the District Office once all your documents are ready.
To ensure a smooth process, please bring the following:
- Completed Livescan form
- Credit card or Zelle payment
- Moisturize your hands so fingerprints are readable.
For full volunteer requirement instructions please visit: Mt. Diablo School District Volunteer Instructions.
Please note: You will not be added to the master list of school volunteers until all required documents have been received at the District Office and your fingerprints have been cleared by the Department of Justice, which can take up to 30 days.
