Covid-19 Update
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced that it is ending the COVID-19 policies that required weekly COVID-19 testing for unvaccinated and under vaccinated workers in high-risk workplaces and schools.  The August 11, 2021 State Public Health Officer Order concerning Vaccine Verification for Workers in Schools was rescinded effective September 17, 2022. Safe Routes to School meeting with the City of Walnut Creek

Are you passionate about making our streets safer for our kids to walk, bike, and generally get to and from school?  The City of Walnut Creek is doing a safety assessment and want to hear from parents and administrators on our needs and concerns.  We have a kick-off meeting on Sept 29th at 2pm.  In the kick-off meeting, the city will "go over the Safe Routes to School project goals, schedule, and have an open discussion about Walnut Acres Elementary’s traffic safety needs, which includes the crossing guard program."  I'd like a couple other parents to join me and Principal Ashton on the call.  Please email if you'd like to join the call.
