Friday night was a very special moment for Walnut Acres as we shared and celebrated so many cultures with overwhelming pride and joy! It takes a true communal event to fight bullying, and we have so many members of our diverse and committed community to thank:
- Our Incredible Table Ambassadors for generously feeding and teaching us!
- All of the other Volunteers who lent their time and supplies to set up, greet, & clean up
- The Recycling Club for keeping our huge event a low-waste endeavor
- Principal Ashton, Yvonne Ortega, Galen Ryan, and our acting custodian, Angel, for helping us iron out our logistics
- Ms. Galindo for providing our sound system and support
- Hella Mas, and Ceviche Co. the tasty and delicious food trucks that came out!
- Our many bold and beautiful Performers of all ages –you lit up our blacktop!
