Today is Giving Tuesday, a day that encourages people to do good through acts of generosity - whether that’s donating money, volunteering time, or performing simple acts of kindness.
In the spirit of this past Thanksgiving weekend, the Walnut Acres Parent Faculty Club (PFC) would like to extend our thanks to our incredible community. Your continued support and generous donations allow us to fund the high-quality education and enriching programs our children enjoy every day.
Where We Stand: The Jaguar Fund
The Jaguar Fund is our largest annual fundraiser, with a goal of raising $175,000. As of November, we have raised $141,000, with a 42% participation rate. We are close - but we still have a gap to close to reach our goal.
Why Your Support Matters
Looking at the 2025 - 2026 school year, the Walnut Acres PFC is projected to spend approximately $700,000 on programs that directly support our children and school. However, current fundraising efforts are estimated to bring in only $500,000.
Because the Jaguar Fund is our largest fundraiser - and because our community has always been committed to investing in our school - meeting our fundraising goals is essential. Without closing this gap, we risk having to reduce or modify programs currently supported by the PFC.

What Participation Looks Like
The suggested donation is $65 per month or a one-time donation of $650 per child.
But truly, every family’s contribution matters. Whether it’s $20, $200, or $2,000, your donation helps keep essential programs running for all Walnut Acres students. No amount is too small.
This year, we’re focusing on participation - every donation counts, at any level.
