Last Day to buy Emergency Kits is Friday, August 20th

As part of school emergency preparedness planning, we ask parents to supply food provisions for their child(ren). Walnut Acres PFC has purchased bottled water for each classroom.

Parents may either:

Each pre-made kit contains 5 items such as granola/kids nutrition bars, apple sauce pouches, dried fruit snacks, etc). Kits and completed forms will be delivered to classroom teachers by the PFC Emergency Preparedness Committee.  While our goal is to provide a NUT-FREE kit, the Walnut Acres PFC cannot guarantee that all items provided in the kit will not contain nuts.  If your child has NUT allergies, please consider providing your own Emergency Kit in order to ensure an allergen-free kit. You may purchase a kit through August 20, 2021.

 

If you prefer to make your own kit, fill out the attached form in the bag and deliver to your child’s teacher NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, AUGUST 31, 2021.  Food must last through June 2022 and items must be able to withstand being stacked on top of each other in a plastic bin.
