Next Week is Red Ribbon Week at Walnut Acres! Parent Volunteers Needed During Lunchtime on Friday
Fri, Oct 27 11:40am-1:00pm
Walnut Acres Elementary

Red Ribbon Week at Walnut Acres,  10/23-10/27

Each day next week, Dr. Dowd will share an anti-drug message in a developmentally appropriate manner with our students over lunchtime. For example, our youngest children will talk about keeping their bodies healthy and being careful about what they put in them.

Watch for a Red Ribbon band coming home on your child’s wrist and real red ribbons on our back fence Friday next week. If you can volunteer to assist with the red ribbons, please sign-up below.

Red Ribbon Week, sponsored by NFP (National Family Foundation), serves as a catalyst to mobilize communities to educate youth and encourage participation in drug prevention activities. For more information about NFP, click here
