We are off to an amazing start of the 2025-2026 school year! Thank you to all of our volunteers- you make our school outstanding!
We have new candidates who have expressed interest in open Board positions, and we need to vote them in next week during our General PFC Meeting.
You can join next Tuesday September 16th at 7pm either in person at the WAE Library or on Zoom! Yes - we are bringing back in person PFC Meetings! A chance to connect, engage, and experience the school community in a way that Zoom can’t. Doors will open at 6:45pm, for a chance to meet and mingle before the meeting begins at 7pm. (There may be snacks too!)

Auction Donations Lead - Julia Albrecht
Auction Buy In Coordinator - Haneen Saideh

In addition, we still have open board roles that we would love to fill:
SpiritWear Coordinator (co-lead with Kristen Corti) - Join our existing chair to learn the ropes, and help everyone wear their Jaguar Pride! You’ll partner with our outside vendor on graphics, inventory selection, and sales promotion. Time Commitment: Sept/Oct and late Spring are most busy, up to 5 hrs/week.
Social Events - Coordinates coffees at school in the morning 3-4x a year, and 1-2 social events at Calicraft, Hess, etc. in the evenings. Time Commitment: Approximately 2 hours per event
Sustainability Coordinator - Be a Green Leader on Campus! Support eco-friendly efforts at all events and in classrooms by educating and reducing waste. You will partner with PFC chairs and Recycle Club, promote zero-waste practices and provide materials and training to volunteers! Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs/week
Auction Comms Lead -You’re the voice of the auction! As Communications Coordinator, you’re responsible for all promotional messaging related to the event - mostly emails and social media. You will partner with the graphic designer to create assets needed for marketing materials, write and design email messaging, update auction web pages and social media content, and collaborate with the Donations and Auction teams to highlight key items. Time Commitment: 2-3 hours / week in January - March.
