In light of the recent incident in Parkland, Florida, we are all concerned about the safety and security of our kids and teachers at Walnut Acres. In response to these concerns, Dr. Dowd and the PFC have invited Jeff Smith (see Jeff's intro below) to the Tuesday night PFC meeting. We anticipate Jeff will be able to participate in our discussion, provide context to ideas regarding how to improve security at our school, and answer security related questions.
The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm with our monthly PFC business, and we intend to introduce Jeff at about 7:45 pm. We hope you will bring your questions and concerns and join us for this important discussion. Please rsvp to this message so we can determine the best location for the meeting.
