Walnut Acres 2026 Read-A-Thon


The Read-A-Thon continues next week thru Monday, January 26th. Be sure your students are recording their minutes read on their envelopes.  99pledges page is open for donations.  
Our goal is $40,000 and >50% participation, we are only at 11% of our fundraising goal - we have a ways to go!

Envelopes will be due back by January 30th.  Please send them to school and we will collect them from your child's teacher.

Cozy PJ & Reading Day
Tuesday, January 20th will be a PJ & reading day.  Please have your student wear school appropriate PJ's and shoes. 

Prizes
Each classroom will have 2 winners, 1 for the most minutes read and 1 for the most money raised.  The top fundraising classroom in combined grade categories( TK-1, 2-3, 4-5) will win a class party as well. In order to win a prize, reading minutes must be legibly recorded on the envelope and turned back into school.
Winners will be announced once all envelopes have been returned and tallied, the week of February 16th.
