Walnut Acres 2026 Read-A-Thon 
This year's Read-A-Thon fundraiser "WILD About Reading" will be held from Monday, January 12th - Monday, January 26th.
The Read-A-Thon challenges students to use their most important academic skill, READING, to directly support our school. The money raised goes to sustain our PFC-initiatives such as reading and math specialists, in class teaching assistants, community events, and so much more. Read-A-Thon flyers and envelopes will be sent home with information on how to participate this week. You'll also soon be receiving an email link from 99pledges with your student's personal online fundraising page.
"WILD About Reading" Kick-Off January 12th
We will be coming around to classrooms to introduce the Read-A-Thon and answer questions. All students will receive a bookmark inside their envelope.
