2021 International Math Kangaroo Competition registration is now open online. Click HERE to sign up. Due to COVID-19, the Math Kangaroo competition will again be held online in 2021. When registering your child for the competition, please choose to register at the California Virtual Center.
Math Kangaroo's goal is to encourage students to learn mathematics by presenting them with problems that are interesting and by rewarding their efforts. In 2020, more than 35,000 students in the US participated in the Math Kangaroo competition. Six Walnut Acres students won prizes. Each participant will get a T-shift, a certificate for participation and a small gift on the competition day.
In addition to the competition, practice sessions will be organized from January to March, 2021. They will be held on Saturdays or Sundays via Zoom. Participation in practice session is optional. If your child is interested in participating, please join the Math Kangaroo Group on Konstella.
The last day of registration is December 15, 2020. If you have trouble with registration or would like to know more about Math Kangaroo, please contact Chao Yang at firstname.lastname@example.org.
